Indications of pre-installationsWall decorating panels in PVC are simple to install. They can be glued directly on the surface and/or fixed with metallic staples, nails, screws or glue on proper support, such as; wood.
Important:- support must be sound, dry and in good condition;
- for installation of panels in high pressure shower areas, it is recommended to use clear silicon on visible surface joint only once installed for a water-tight seal
- for fitting of panels around radiators and/or fire places, temperature may not exceed the allowed level of 140°F (60°C).
For the application of these panels it is recommended to use rustproof materials, especially in very humid spaces/rooms. The application of the panels on surfaces, which need to be covered, can be done either horizontally or vertically.
If use of spacers is required, and depending on the spacer’s position (vertically/horizontally), than it will be necessary to apply these panels in the opposite way according to the spacer’s position.
The use of spacer-supports gives the possibility to use more insulating products, such as; mineral wool, creating improvement of thermal-acoustic isolation of covered surfaces.
Installation- Draw two panels one against the other, to find the correct alignment. If necessary, trim the mismatched ends of the panel(s). Important:This procedure needs to be taken in consideration during all stages of assembly.
- Check if the level is horizontal before fixing the first panel to the surface.
- Continue with installation, placing the male side of the panel next to the female side of the previous set panel.
- Use the finishing profiles:RA100, RA110, RA120, RA122, RA130, RA173, RA200, RA201, RA202, RA203. Important: Be informed that it is possible to use the same covering panel to create inner or external angles, cutting the rear of the panel with a cutter.
Maintenance and care: For cleaning we recommend to use a dampened cloth or sponge in a solution of water and mild soap. Avoid use of any solvent and/or aggressive degreasers that could damage the panels finish.
